We believe that quality placements depend not only on matching candidates based on background and experience, but also on how well candidates can put their expertise to work within a particular corporate environment.
Just as we strive to understand each client’s unique requirements, we take the time to get to know our candidates’ employment objectives and workplace styles. This way we can better represent you to potential employers.
Every assignment has unique characteristics. When you apply for a specific opening, however, our basic process remains the same.1. Application
- When you apply, we acknowledge receipt of your resume.
- A recruiter reviews your resume for fit with the client's requirements and expectations.
- We do not scan resumes for key words!
- An email will be sent, typically within 24-48 hours of receipt, indicating fit with the client's requirements.
2. Screening Tools
- You may be asked to complete questionnaires so we can verify some specifics about your experience and skills set.
- Assessments of cognitive skills and personality are commonly used.
- For your convenience, these tools are frequently offered online.
3. Preliminary Interview
- Your first telephone interview with a recruiter will briefly explore your professional background.
- Don't expect a sales pitch!
- At this point in the process it is all about you. We want to hear your likes, dislikes and motivations. We won't waste your time talking about opportunities that don't meet your needs or expectations. If there's a potential match to your career goals, we provide details about our client's opportunity.
- On the other hand, our client's opportunity may not meet your expectations. If so, we will tell you right up front.
4. In-depth Interview
- A more in-depth telephone interview with the recruiter produces a completed candidate packet.
- We request your permission to release your packet to our client.
- Please be prepared to provide 3 professional references.
5. Presentation
- Your multi-part candidate packet is presented to our client.
- We will provide the client's feedback to you as quickly as possible.
